Question:

Dear DCA guide, I am looking for support with guiding my mother (who is diagnosed melanome uveal, mets stage3) with start of using DCA. She already started ketogene diet for some time but now wants to add DCA with this. However we can't find any specialist/professional in our region. Can you help us out with this? Regards, Cees

Answer:

Dear Cees,
We would like to present you a really interesting study about melanoma + DCA: Long-term stabilization of metastatic melanoma with sodium dichloroacetate.

Long story short - a young man used DCA for a handful of years and it stabilized his disease, even shrunk the metastasis to the lymph nodes and he finally got better and qualified for immunotherapy treatment (this is one of the best therapies available up-to-date for Melanoma. Previous therapies with e.g. Interferon only gave 5% positive results).

So, she can definitely take DCA with a Ketogenic diet for Melanoma. It can stabilize the cancer and give you time to take other therapies. Please read the article closely.

In fact, you can find a lot of information that you need to know about DCA for free in our site. Please read it closely. Reading DCA information is a must.

Regarding your question about specialists and medical professionals in Europe - well, it's sad to say that we don't know any. We believe that there are specialists in Germany who prescribe Sodium dichloroacetate for cancer, however, we have no contact with them.

We advise you to follow your doctors advise, especially if he's offering immunotherapy for melanoma, and take Ketogenic diet and DCA with the conventional treatment.

If you have the money and the time, you can try reaching out Dr. Akbar Khan in Canada - he's one of the best DCA oncologists in the world. You can find his site here - Medicor Cancer.
